How to care for handmade items?

All items should be cared for in the way instructed on the tag - however we encourage people to use the following suggestions when cleaning our handmade goods:

Stamped Fabric -Wash Cold Water, Hang to Dry

Anything with Embroidery - Turn inside out for Washing (to protect the thread), Cold Water, Hang right side out to Dry

Anything with Patches - Turn inside out for Washing (to protect the patch), Cold Water, Hang right side out to Dry

Anything with Tufting - We recommend you wash tufted patches as little as possible but if you do need to put one through the wash, please do so in a garment bag.
***Some threads may fray during the process. DO NOT PULL. Use a pair of scissors to gently trim down to the rest of the yarn.

Every item has gone through at least one full wash cycle before ending up on the site- it's clean and pre shrunk. Continue to care for the garments with the above instructions to ensure that the quality lasts as long as possible <3

Do you make custom orders?

Yes! We love working directly with our customers to create one of a kind items. Whether it’s a completely unique idea you want to see executed or just something on the site you'd like made in a different size, we'd love to work with you! Please send us a message HERE or a DM via our Instagram (foreversoup.co) describing your idea or adjustment. We can then further discuss budget and ideal time frame before getting to work.

Are you local to NYC and want to set a pick up instead of delivery for your order?

Send us a message - we would be more than happy to arrange if possible.

What is your return policy?

Much like a real kitchen, it’s hard to return goods that have already been consumed. That being said, we want to help keep things out of the trash as much as possible. Please contact us immediately if there is any issue with your order and we will do our best to address it. We cannot promise a full, or even partial refund, as we are only a two person team working out of an apartment space. But we will help where we can.

Have items you would like to donate?

We are currently working on the best system in order to take in as many donations as possible. At this time, we do not have the ability to accept new donations until we work through what we currently have. As another option, please use the below resource to find places to donate your unwanted textiles.

***We are not affiliated with this group, but so far it is the closest to what we recommend - and we always encourage you to prioritize smaller thrift stores, shelters, and even churches for clothing in good condition (less likely to be trashed)

We also highly recommend starting the conversation with your friends, family, and local community to find others that want to apart of this movement and mission - you'd be surprised by the amount of people that would also want your "trash".
